From Jalalalabat depart to the village of Barpy (approximately 30 min), where there is a sewing workshop called “Azem”. Here, you can watch and participate in a master class to learn to make Kurjun, a traditional bag for horseback riding.
In this class, you will see how thread is spun from cotton and dyed, to see how kurjun is made from a finished thread on the loom with which our grandmothers weaved. You will also learn about accessories needed to properly saddle a horse (terdik, er, kopchuk, kurjun).
