Ban Nam Cham,Thailand-2 Days

Chiang Mai is often considered as more of a winter destination thanks its cool, dry weather and chance to witness the clear sunrise views atop any number of mountain peaks dotted around the province., But there are also a handful of activities that focus more on local community life – a great opportunity for visitors to get to understand the real Chiang Mai lifestyle. And these communities are ready to welcome you all-year-round (not just through the winter!) Surrounded by the lush green trees and fields, Ban Nam Cham enjoys pleasant weather throughout the year. Here, you can stay in a community homestay and experience the harmonious and interdependent lifestyle of the locals. Fill your stomach with local dishes like grilled fish stuffed in bamboo, cabbage soup, khae soup, mixed curry, steamed chicken wrap, or even the popular “Khao soi” and “Kanom jeen nam ngiaw” curry noodle soups. Elsewhere, participate in local activities like Thai boxing dance, “Joeng” martial dance, “Pooja” drum, local dessert-making and tie-dying clothes with the community masters. Challenge your inner farmer spirit by visiting an organic garden and get to work ploughing the land with a buffalo.
