Living With Ethnic Minorities In Mae Hong Son- 3 Days

This program will make you share daily life moments of 2 villages… One from Shan ethnic and the other one from Black Lahu ethnic…. You will spend simple moments, in harmony with a nature still much preserved of the remote Mae Hong Son province. This program is indeed much orientated towards nature, fauna or flora observation as well as simple daily life of farmers in their common tasks. Particular tradition of these 2 communities will of course being approached. Shan are Buddhists, convinced and practicing. Their life is closely related to their natural environment and to all living beings of the jungle with whom they have a harmonious relationship. They also follow the model of auto-sufficient economy… Black Lahu are rather animists, with their own rites, traditions and dances. They also have a close link with nature that they consider with respect and affection. You will discover welcoming people, superb landscapes and will understand that sustainability here is not a modern preservation concept, but a way of life that has always been so. Very interesting program indeed, putting forward local way of living, which is really worth to be discovered
