3 Days/ 2 Nights – Yangon And Its Vicinity

Explore from Yangon – the garden city and the main gate way to Myanmar and it was essentially a small settlement called Dagon, meaning the city on a spit of land. King Alaungpaya renamed it as Yangon, meaning the City of the End of Strife, meaning Peaceful City. Bago – It is just 80 km by car from Yangon. It is a one-time capital of the Hanthawady Dynasty of Mon kings. It was founded by two Mon princes, who strangely saw a female himsa bird perching on the back of the male one. Taking it as a good omen, the two prices built a city on the spot and named is Hanthawady, the city of himsa birds. Later it became the centre of the Mon Kingdom. You will find the local peoples and landscape beyond your imagination.

 

Day 1

Arrival Yangon, sightseeing by car

Arrival at Yangon international airport and be welcomed by your personal tour guide. Start Yangon sightseeing with a visit to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda (one of the largest reclining image of Buddha in Myanmar) to see a huge reclining Buddha image. Then, enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda (its golden stupa covered with 60 tons of pure gold), famous worldwide – its golden stupa is the Heart of Buddhism Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. There are always many Myanmar People praying and making offerings at Shwedagon, and it’s fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by. And transfer to the hotel for check in and overnight at hotel in Yangon.

DAY 3

Yangon Sightseeing & International Departure (Breakfast)

Breakfast at hotel. Full day sightseeing in Yangon with a visit Sule Pagoda (Landmark of Yangon) located in the heart of Yangon, Mahabandula Park (Independent Monument), City Hall area. Stop along the Strand Road and feel the warmth and atmosphere of British era. In the afternoon, shopping at Bogyoke Market (formerly known as Scott’s market, closed on Every Mondays) it is one of the best for souvenir shopping paradise. After all, transfer to the airport to conclude our unique services.

 
 

 

 Day 2

Yangon – Bago – Yangon (Breakfast)

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Bago (the Hansawaddy Dynasty) just 80 kilometers away from Yangon. Bago tour starts with Kyat Khat Wine Monastery to study the daily activites of monks. Continue to 55 m Long & 16 m high reclining Shwethalyaung (a huge reclining Buddha image). Then next stop at Kanbawzathardi Royal Palace. In the afternoon visit Shwemawdaw Pagoda and Kyaikpun the four Buddha images sittings in back – to – back position. On the way back to Yangon, visit HtaukKyaunt War Cemetery. Return back to your hotel and overnight stay at your hotel in Yangon.
